This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in south Florida. I usually get the mixed steak and chicken special. Comes with 6 flavorful sauces that combine to make a great taste and the meat is quality. The first time i ordered it i was hesitant to have so much sauce... I meant to ask for the sauces on the side but forgot (possibly because theres often a bit of a language barrier if your order in English... understandable for where it's located in the world). Anyway, i was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere sitting outside is almost sentimental. Like you're at the neighbor's backyard party. Often there's a soccer match on a giant tv screen. Caribbean latin music. Strings of lights. It's nice. Do not let the fact that it's connected to a mini mart fool you; that does not detract from it's charm.

I used to go all the time. I went last night (Saturday night) which I usually packed but it was empty. When we got our food it looked a lot less than the normal portions and they didn't have the regular sauces they have. Which makes the food better. They're going to keep losing customers if they keep it up.

be aware. They cut the size of food by 30 % the original size but the prize remains the same of course. Not coming back, will not recommend it again.

The meat was over cooked when I told them medium rare, the yuca looked like a soup and the avocato a child of 10 yrs old could have cut it better. I was so hungry that ate half of it but I should have returned it. The customer service (the lady) had the attitude of like if she was making a favor to me. I said it to my friends so don’t know if it was on porpoise. Will not repeat. So many places at el Doral and this one was not a good experience.
